Ingame party!

Next Saturday (05.05.07) I’d like to see as many Tigers as possible to a little social rp gathering in Bootey Bay at 20.00 game time. Some of us have already met irl, but this is the change for everybody to come together without having to travel far far away. Since the party is starting in Bootey Bay its gonna be a pirate theme party and I’d like to see you all dressed up in your best pirate gear. If you don’t have any pirate gadgets you got a whole week to find some, so get started! Find an eye-patch, a parrot or a pirate-looking sword.

I’m thinking we can get some drinks at the tavern and just mingle a bit, maybe take a group photo. After that we can go on a raid if people are up for it. Would be fun to storm the alliance all dressed up as pirates! Yarr! If people bring those tasty fish that turn you into a pirate, we can still wear our epic gear underneath the pirate stuff and kick allyass.

Hope to see as many as possible :)

Yarr!

Potrait 9

Reinos!

Now this one is going to be a bit more special for me to write, because I want to make sure I get it just right. After all Reinos is probably the biggest fan of the blog, so he deserves to get his portrait here. Because he always treats people with respect, I hope I can show him that same respect here.

Reinos has been in Tiger for a long time and loyal as he is he stuck with the guild even in bad times. He likes the social aspect of the game and I think many people found a friend in him, but but but. He is not only a bad ass hunter – he is also a father irl. No doubt Reinos lives and breathes for his children and that means that sometimes he misses out on the fun in Tiger. Every real life party we had and many social things that went on ingame – Reinos couldn’t be there. Ofcourse it doesn’t always help that he works nights, so when a lot of Tigers are busy getting drunk and spamming guildchat with rubbish, Reinos is at work. Well for once Reinos didn’t miss out on a Tiger raid this weekend and it was nice to have him with us.

Maybe the whole dad thing is why people always think he is an officer? Is he the dad in Tiger? Or maybe it’s just because he knows a lot of wow related stuff and always is ready to help? I once asked him where I could grind some stuff and he didn’t know. But he went right to the Internet and looked it up for me ^^ That’s a nice service. But don’t spam Reinos with questions if you got them, cause he may be wise, but he also believes in learning for yourself. And “I couldn’t agree more” ;)

This proud Tauren always greet Tigers with a loud “mooh”. He was one of the first to adopt the whole mooh business, although - against my will - he modified it a bit. Well well, he is forgiven cause whiter its “muuh” or “moooh” its always fun, just like the Yarr.

If some Tigers are messing around in guildchat, Reinos always participate even if he is busy helping someone or doing an instance. He mostly like to talk about his tails or make flirty comments. So he contributes to the guild in guildchat just as he does on the forum and here on the blog. Ever notice that Reinos is always the first to make a comment on the blog? ^^

So in short: Fun helpful fella. Not so weird that Irvana is always flirting with him, cause he really is a nice guy.

As I said before, Reinos is a big fan of the blog, but I must say; Im a big fan of Reinos.

Cheers mate :)

Small raid, loads of fun

So this Saturday I got a message from Celdora on Msn saying that I should come raid. Without knowing much else I logged into wow and joined a raid on the allys. I don’t know who started it, but Saggy was the raid leader and Celdora is usually the one to start these things - so im guessing they both got something to do with it.

Anyways, I was the last raid member arriving at Dakrshire, so when I got there people were ready to move on already. But after I whined about just getting there and not getting a part of the action – people were nice enough to kill a few more allys and die a few more times for me. That’s the team spirit! Thanks guys :)

We moved on to Lakeshire where we started out doing alright for a small raid, with little casualties. Some lvl 70 allys started showing up but we still pretty much ruled the place. But in the end we got outnumbered and had to retreat. We got the action we came for and it was late so many hordes went to bed. Judging by the blood on my swords I'd say we did we A little group of 5 (Saggy, Leito, Reinos. Celdora and myself) were still bloodthirsty though. Celdora suggested that the rest of us went to Astranaar in Ashenvale, maybe so we wouldn’t end the night getting our asses kicked? ^^

Five brave (and somewhat drunk) souls went into the nelf city and it turned out to be a piece of cake. Though it is hard for a rogue to sneak about when she got a hunter on follow, pulling everything! So a little tip for the future: if you go afk, pls don’t select a rogue to be the one you follow. But that’s a different story.

More people who came by joined our raid and it just got too easy. So we killed their gryphon and flightmaster and went home. Or at least some of us did. Celdora and Mijo went to AV to kill even more allys and Saggy went to Athena to propose. Let me just say it was a happy end of a fun night for all of us.

Tiger Gossip 9

1. Joola is back from his brake! Yay!

2. Hulk is in Town! Meet him in Ogrimmar if you dare! Shamael did as you can see on the picture :)

3. After many days of travelling across the seas, Ghroktar has returned to Tiger. WB mate.

4. According to Rafal, Adriell is The King Of Sand?

5. It wasn’t enough for Perun to make long posts on the forum or in his own blog – now he is making long COMMENTS on the Tiger blog aswell! And I’ve heard its contagious so watch out!

6. It is dangerous to drink too much ”hot water” and log on to wow- mwuhaha

7. Xfire turned out to be a great tool to keep in touch with those on brakes and I will keep nagging you about it until we all got the program installed ;)

8. Athena is waiting for Saggy to pop the question

9. For those of you who would like to meet Mulm, he - like a real Tiger - only work nights ^^

10. Celdora wonders; if a rabbit jumps over your foot, does that count as a leg hump?

Boost pls?

This is something we hear once in a while and frankly quite often these days. People want to get through an instance as fast as possible to finish some quest or get a nice drop from a boss. Why they don’t take their time to get a group around their own lvl and do the instance the traditional way I guess can only be because they’ve done it before and find it boring and want to get it over with. Unless it’s because they are simply lazy or don’t have the patience to find a regular group. I’m not saying it’s always wrong to get boosted through something or get some high lvl people in your group so it will be a bit easier. And I’ve also helped people through some instance where they just run and loot while I clear the way. I don’t see much fun in it, but that doesn’t mean I judge anyone ever doing something like that. However I get tired of people who always want to get boosted through instances and quests instead of taking their time and play the game as intended. And ofcourse it doesn’t help if they ask every day and maybe even several times a day. Then it seems to me that for these people it’s a race getting to lvl 70 not experiencing the game. Now we all have different ways off playing the game and if people wanna get to the highest lvl fast I don’t have a problem with that even though we all now I took my time getting there. But when people keep nagging fellow guildies or random highlvl people it gets old very quick.

Some people have a high lvl char and maybe more than one and everytime they make an alt that go through the same stuff. Understandable not everything is fun repeating and particularly not if it takes a lot of time. So it’s fair enough you ask your friends to come help and make it a little easier to complete. If your friends are busy at that moment, well then tough luck. We got a rule in Tiger saying that you are free to ask for help from your guildmembers, but don’t expect them to be your personal levelling/ grinding robots. If you are having trouble getting a group/help try to arrange a time where people can help, maybe even ask for help on the forum.

Just so we are clear; this post is not aimed at anyone particular in Tiger and I didn’t write it now because of some resent events. The only time I really thought it became an annoyance to me was when everybody made belfs and all we heard in guildchat was people asking to get boosted. Then I must admit I couldn’t help thinking “does nobody wanna play the game anymore?” And then there were the few times where some people seemed to resent that they didn’t get the help they wanted, when they wanted it. As I tried to explain I don’t mind people getting boosted in general, though I don’t always understand the fun in it. But as long as people don’t spam guildchat with requests about getting boosted and be fair when nobody has the time to help, I’m sure we can all help eathother out from time to time :)

Happy hunting all!

Is the virtual world real?

A guy came into that internet café I work at and started talking about this “game” called Secondlife. In Secondlife you have to buy everything your character needs - from clothes to entertainment - like the entrance fee to a discotheque and even for being able to take all your clothes off! So needless to say, people who play this game spend a lot of real money in the virtual world, just like some people purchase wow gold (except ofc that’s not the concept of wow).

So this guy I talked about doesn’t understand why someone would pay real money for something virtual. Why buy a virtual shirt if you can get a real one not made of pixels? Well in a way all that virtual clothes you can get for your char has the same symbolic effect as real clothes. Most clothes and accessories we ware on our body got more than one purpose; to cover us up. We cover up in symbols and signals whether its high fashion designer clothes or not. You can signalise personal stile, send messages or simply stating that you are rich! Going to the hottest discotheque in the world of second life gives the same status ingame, than going to the popular places in real life does. So the virtual clothes have almost the same value to some people as their real life clothes and then it becomes acceptable to spend money on it.

You can’t really compare clothes in Secondlife with all the items in wow, since we pretty much all are aiming for the same stuff: epics! But still I know some of us do care about how our char look in its outfit. Sometimes you accept the silly pants cause they got better stats, other times you have to go with those that look really cool and get a little lesser agi ^^

We spend game gold on our stuff and the main goal when visiting AH is to get good gear, not good looking gear. But I’m pretty sure all of us rather want a really evil looking staff than a puny one. So there is some signal value in wow gear aswell as in Secondlife and real life. The difference is that in wow you are not suppose to use your real money on these virtual things, but the fact is that some people do. All those goldsellers wouldn’t keep spamming us all the time if there weren’t anyone buying! This could mean that some find the virtual things in wow having value similar to real stuff, hence the virtual things become more real. Or they are simply lazy bastards :p

So is the virtual world real? Well ofcourse its not. But it contains a lot of the same social elements as our real life; real people, real relationships, but on different terms and under other rules.

Use your brain when you get a gold whisper; wow is fun but its not as real as real life…the punishment you get from buying illegal gold on the other hand, is very real ;)

[This post is simply an expression of my own thoughts and point of view]

Fuzzhil: I think I shall get a guard who stops me doing things like that

Fuzzhil: that’s why I shall stick to beer and not “hot water”

Who killed the chat?

This is one of the longer bits of guildchat, but i promise you its entertaining (and steaming!).
So get some coffee, sit back and enjoy the show. Oh and see if you can guess who kills the fun :p No, it wasnt the butler, but close though.

[Athena]: i need to get married

[Mijo]: Obvious question: why?

[Athena]: For love

[Mijo]: And do you have a victim yet? ^^

[Zaigerne]: hey ive been married for many years now, I did it for the money

[Mijo]: and then spanking zai

[Carroliius]: :)

[Athena]: hmm spanking…

[Saggy]: ill be her victim

[Zaigerne]: yeah that’s nice too and she is damn good at it

[Onekill]: well woho im single again…

[Mijo]: aww Onekill

[Athena]: *Winks at Saggy*

[Mijo]: hay hay, there will be no flirting in this chat….unless its with me ;p

[Onekill]: and one more thing, moving Uppfeldt was a big mistake.

[Reinos]: /flirt mijo

[Saggy]: sap

[Rafal]: no flirting?? Does this mean I cant flirt with myself anymore??? *cries like a baby*

[Mijo]: /flirt back reinos

[Carrollius]: :)

[Athena]: *winks at mijo and makes a rude suggestion to Saggy involving the 3 of us*

[Mijo]: o’rly Uppfeldt? I could have told ya that :p

[Reinos]: kiss mijo

[Reinos]: hmm Naarman isn’t here is he?

[Saggy]: what?

[Mijo]: /smells reinos *phew*

[Reinos]: hehe

[Saggy]: Athena I spoke for

[Mijo]: Athena you are no better than Fayne it seems ^^

[Reinos]: none is as bad as Fayne

[Zaigerne]: [censored] – I decided to erase this in order to save Zaigernes marriage!

[Mijo]: yay Reinos, finally someone is worse than me at something!

[Reinos]: hehe

[Reinos]: But that’s it….everything else is yours mijo ^^

[Saggy]: im not sure about that Mijo

[Mijo]: …oh…..

[Saggy]: hehe

[Mijo]: dammit!

[Reinos]: hehehhehe

[Zaigerne]: rofl

[Reinos]: well none snoops around like you, none types the blog as you, and so on ^^

[Mijo]: don’t hurt yourself there Zai :p

[Uppfeldt]: *snoops*

[Mijo]: hehe sounds good; “none types like you baby”….ok I added the “baby” part, but it was written between the lines :p

[Reinos]: lol

[Mijo]: uh! I got one…im not a slutty as Irvana!

[Zaigerne]: hehe no one can be as slutty as irvana

[Mijo]: true….

[Onekill]: …..

[Mijo]: takes skill

[Zaigerne]: trained for a long time, I guess he was almost born with it

[Saggy]: Athena is not slutty

[Athena]: OMG who said I was??

[Mijo]: in some guilds the keyword to wake up people is “gank”, in Tigers its “spank” ^^

[Slaan]: lol

[Mijo]: yeah Saggy where did that come from?

[Zaigerne]: lol true

[Rafal]: in Tigers its “omg its mijo, we can get ourselves on the blog!”

[Athena]: deny deny deny

[Saggy]: just making a point, hehe

[Carrollius]: hehe

[Mijo]: *roles up her sleeves and stands behind Athena*

[Athena]: im just friendly

[Saggy]: nobody

[Saggy]: don’t get me wrong, im all in for Athena

[Mijo]: aah the fames yes rafal….could be right there

[Rafal]: im always right when im not wrong

[Mijo]: true again

[Mijo]: twice in a row there rafal…doesn’t happen that often :p

[Rafal]: hmm

[Rafal]: that’s true too

[Rafal]: but it also seems that my litlle comment killed the guildchat ^^

[Rafal]: and still no one is screaming “Bloody murderer”

[Mijo]: that on the other hand, has happened before

[Onekill]: um ye

[Rafal]: im good at what I do

Portrait 8

Its Uppfeldt!

Well…

In the true spirit of Uppfeldt his portrait has to start with a good old ”Well” cause that’s pretty much all he says these days. Ofcourse that’s not entirely true cause if he didn’t talk I wouldn’t be able to say anything about him. But as a general rule Uppfeldt is most chatty when a bit tipsy…and that’s not such a rare situation. Unlike myself, Uppfeldt is a good speller, but as for most people, it clearly gets harder to get the words out right after some beers. Here’s an example from the guildchat:

[Uppfeldt]: Well I cant say that Im tierd but am a lot of othere thingeyz

[Mijo]: hehe..Uppfeldt said “Thingeys” *giggles*

[Mpoy]: like tipsy?

[Ravonz]: Uppfeldt with a dirty mind :p

[Uppfeldt]: ye well I have a….yeah you woud like to know that huh?

[Delea]: :)

[Uppfeldt]: ^^

[Uppfeldt]: and ye im tipsy

[Bullus]: me and delea aswell join the club :p

[Delea]: hahah :) yep

[Uppfeldt]: nice

[Bullus] what are you drinking mate?

[Uppfeldt]: now we can laff at tose tierd ones haHA

[Bullus]: hehe lol

[Uppfeldt]: me I whas drinking…w8 il finde it

[Bullus]: we are drinking Bacardi and coke

[Uppfeldt]: ah ye Heinekin

[Bullus]: whoot dutch ftw :p

[Uppfeldt]: ^^

Hehe you thought I forgot all about that night huh? :p

Another thing that characterises Uppfeldt is his constantly poking. Being a rogue he enjoys sneaking up on people and poke them before they see him coming. This has happened to many fellow Tigers aswell and at one point we had a little poking contest where we had to poke eachother and run before the other one could poke back. A little rogue humour for ya ^^

After he had a little poking accident where he ended up being ganked, you won’t find Uppfeldt poking as much as he use to though. But beware if he is near, you never know when the next poke comes!

Although Uppfeldt is proud of his evilness and has the same attitude about joking about people as Ghroktar has – he is always helpful when it comes to killing the allys. So on a typical raid to the alliance territories, you will find Uppfeldt among the Tigers. Or actually you prolly won’t find him since he is a rogue….but anyway.

Uppfeldt actually moved his main (aka Uppfeldt) to another server, so any newcomers might know him as his alt Onekill. But he regretted the loss of his dear rogue and made a new one called Thingz.

So we prolly won’t see the actual Uppfeldt in Tiger again, but he will always be fellow rogue “Upp” to me; pokey, chatty and tipsy. Gotta love that :)

Tiger Gossip 8!

1. Zai married for money (and spanking)

2. Ravonz seems to be in heat, so watch out!

3. Athena needs to get married (any volunteers?)

4. Saggy would like to volunteer, but hasn’t received an answer yet.

5. Rafal likes to flirt with himself?

6. Uppfeldt is single again (any volunteers?)

7. Harriy is still on his “Mjau” trip. Its not healthy to eat that much tuna.

8. Fayne has a dirty side too…Hungybear you shouldn’t work that much, not healthy for Fayne nor the rest of the Tigers that had to listen to it O.o

9. Uppfeldt made a new rogue in Tiger, the name is Thingz.

10. Brem didn’t erase himself like he said he would, so maybe we haven’t seen the last of him. He can be found on Xfire anyway :)

11. Mijo is snooping around...but thats just rumors really :p

12. We took a vote and it turns out Irvana is still the most slutty Tiger, even though he is on a break! You just can’t beat him. /Hail

13. Zaigerne and Rafal is still trying to take over the world, including guildchat. But no need to worry, the keyword here is "trying" ^^

Dont Hassle The Hoof!

[Adriell]: Cant we change our guildname to “Hassel da Hoof” ^^

[Mijo]: How about no

[Samothrake]: that might not please the actual person in question

[Adriell]: a tribute to the greatest man in the world :p

[Samothrake]: /puke

[Adriell]: Our own darling. Mr. Baywatch

[Adriell]: You have to listen to his new album, he is a rap star now

[Mpoy]: Could settle for Steven Seagull

[Saggy]: Not Sam

[Samothrake]: ok what about you make a deal with Harriy; if you make a lvl 70 pally by the name of Mr.Baywatch within a certain amount of time…..then……

[Mijo]: Chuck Norris Ftw!

[Mpoy]: Sounds like a deal

[Mpoy]: Time to take vacation from work

[Adriell]: Don’t fuck with Chuck!

[Preon]: Just knew someone would mention the Norris at some point, lol

[Mpoy]: Fuzz you play nights, I play days

[Adriell]: hahaha

[Mpoy]: We can play in shifts

[Samothrake]: don’t fuck with Chuck cause then you are gay?

[Adriell]: hahaha, lets go for it buddy

[Mijo]: yea Preon, I thought we might aswell get it over with

[Samothrake]: well then get otah that closet then

[Adriell]: I have ordered some “cool” T-shirts with Chuck and Hasselhoff, One with Chuck Norris with an Uzi in each hand and the text says: “What would Chuck do?”

[Samothrake]: He could go lick the barrel?

[Adriell]: And a fun T-shirt with Kobra Kai from Karati Kid :p

[Adriell]: And “The man, the myth, the legend, Mr.Baywatch”

[Samothrake]: Are you healthy? Need a check-up? :D

[Adriell]: I would say yes if I spoke for myself, but the hospital take me for some reason

[Mijo]: hehe, maybe you should change that Gambit tattoo into a Hasselhoff tattoo then fuzz x)

[Adriell]: hahaha hell no, that would just be stupid :p

[Adriell]: maybe ill just turn the gas down from the oven and then maybe I wouldn’t feel so fuzzy.

"Some kids piss their name in the snow, Chuck pisses his name in concrete"

Now drop it like its Hoof and check out more amasing Chuck Norris facts like the above:

http://4q.cc/index.php?pid=top100&person=chuck

So what do you say Tigers; do we have a new guildname? Vote no today! ^^

My Favourite City

I’m sure we all have somewhere in the World of Warcraft where we like to be the most. It’s a place you can feel safe and you know your way around to the things you often need. In other words, its your home in this cruel world.

We all have a city connected to our race when we are “born”. Since this is the first mayor city we visit, there’s a good change this is the place that will be your home for the rest of your time in world of Warcraft. However it’s not always the case that your original capital city becomes your base. Some undeads get tired of the darkness of Undercity and seek the light in Ogrimmar or Thunderbluf. However this rogue is a true undead and needless to say, my favourite city off all (not just the big ones) is Undercity.

I like the way the entrance above earth is merely a ruin, cause it makes you remember how old this place is and that there’s a history behind the walls. And how cool is it that it’s build under the ground! Anyeway, this is the story of the city:

“Far beneath the ruined capital city of Lordaeron, the royal crypts have been turned into a bastion of evil and undeath. Originally intended by Prince Arthas to be the Scourge's seat of power, the budding "Undercity" was abandoned when Arthas was recalled to aid the Lich King in distant Northrend. In Arthas's absence, the Dark Lady, Sylvanas Windrunner, led the rebel Forsaken to the Undercity, and claimed it for her own. Since taking up residence, the Forsaken have worked to complete the Undercity's construction by dredging the twisted maze of catacombs, tombs, and dungeons that Arthas began”.

I also like that everything looks a bit like it was drawn by Tim Burton (the guy that made “Corpse Bride”). It’s dark and cold, yet it is filled with colours. I have taken so many screenshots in this city cause I constantly find something that fascinates me and cause I like the design so much, there’s plenty of places suitable as a background for a picture.

Because Undercity is pretty much a round city, its quick to get from one end to the other and it never takes long to find anything. Also the outer ring of the city is divided into four areas with different colour entrance, and this makes it easy to find stuff. With a laggy pc like mine it’s nice that it’s easy to navigate so you don’t have to search the whole city every time you need to find something new.

Also I think there’s more rp’ing going on with the npc’s around this city. A lot of npc’s are talking or training or torturing some poor sole and it makes the city seem more alive to see the npc’s interacting with each other.

By these words I dedicate this post to my favourite place in Azeroth, home of the forsaken; Undercity!

The Chatty Tigers

Here’s some little pieces of chats that weren’t long enough to get their own post, but still deserves to get published:

Focus ffs!

[Mijo]: Did Rafal fall asleep?

[Rafal]: No I just focused on BRD =)

[Irvana]: (sssshuss) don’t awaken him

[Zaigerne]: Hmm rafal whats happening, don’t leave me

[Mijo]: Focus? What is that? ^^

[Rafal]: Uum

[Rafal]: Well its like….what ya do when you don’t focus

[Rafal]: I mean

[Rafal]: Its that you don’t do when you don’t focus

[Rafal]: Not you do when you don’t focus

[Mijo]: Did you look that up in a dictionary??

Poor little Fella

[Kraldor]: Your incinerate hits Squirrel for 1177 Fire damage

[Kraldor]: Roasted squirrel ^^

Dirtytalk

[Fuzzhill]: Mijo you missed our dirty talk earlier

[Zaigerne]: you see, its not only me

[Fuzzhil]: I was asking how many people play wow naked irl ;D

[Mijo]: I do sometimes

[Fuzzhil]: who doesn’t?? But Joola answer quick that he needs to smoke and run away in fear

[Mijo]: I know Zai, but they learn from you I think :p

[Mijo]: lol ^^

[Fuzzhil]: and he told us he never does it

[Mijo]: well Joola should smoke less and be nude some more instead.

[Joola]: ou dear

[Fuzzhil]: anyway, I counter back with “he just said he needs a smoke, meanwhile he dresses off and waits for the next dirty line”.

[Mijo]: haha XD

[Mijo]: But fuzzy, a lot more interesting question would be: who is playing naked right now? ;)

[Fuzzhil]. To be honest I do, I just got haaaim (home) from floor hockey wet like a real man should be, haha

[Fuzzhil]: and omw to jump to the shower

[Mijo]: hehe

Whispers simultaneously

[Talyn]: Dearest Mijo, is there any chance you could come help me here in Ashenvale for a sec?

[Mijo]: Hello there, would you mind if I drop by and do some paparazzi on you? ^^

[Mijo]: Lol!

[Talyn]: Wow

[Mijo]: haha Im on my way :)

[Talyn]: That was freaky

My Religion

[Furonda]: Listen guys, it says in the guild rules that we are not allowed to talk religion in guildchat, so you have to stop cause beer is my religion….i believe in Tuborg, Carlsberg and the holy spirit

[Kinhand]: afk….drinking beer :)

[Fuzzhil]: hahaha

[Rafal]: =p

[Suca]: and Guiness

[Luckybull]: lol!

[Kinhand]: haha

[Uppfeldt]: ye love that

(The Picture shows the result of my paparazzi)

A Dangerous Mission?

Hey Tigers

I got a mission for those of you who dare take the job. See, I’m making all these portraits about people in Tiger and get to say whatever I want about you guys. But who is going to make my portrait? If any of you are up for the challenge id like one or more of you to write some words about Mijo and I’ll publish it here on the blog (after I have taken all the embarrassing bits out :p).

Maybe you want to make a full portrait or just write a few lines you think should be included?
Take this amazing opportunity to get a saying on the blog where I normally rule as your dictator ^^

Contact me ingame or send a pm on the forum when you have written something good – flatter will ofcourse be highly appreciated.

Have fun with the writing :)

-Mijo

Potrait 7

Naarman (aka Blanketboy)

Though Naarman isn’t always reading his guildchat and therefore not saying anything in it either, you can be sure that he is always chatting. He will most likely have a party chat and 3 different people he is /whispering with at the same time. So forgive him for not always responding in guild chat. You will also find him on TS most of the time, either talking about the weather and hangovers or something very political concerning the guild. Aah yes, I think we can all agree that Naarman is a big talker.

Where most people would go hide when they make a mistake or do something silly, Naarman isn’t afraid of sharing embarrassing moments. This happens over TS as well and it doesn’t matter if this happens in game or in real life – he will gladly tell his fellow tigers. So if you log on TS a Sunday afternoon there’s a change you will get a funny story from a hung-over Naarman about last nights events. With Naarman online TS will never be silent nor boring. Even when he is so drunk he can hardly type, he will certainly try – krkr.

If you group with Naarman you will learn that he loves making rp macros. So when he changes to shadowform you will always hear an evil laughter from him, and when he goes out of shadowform he will be very confused. And I don’t even want to get started with his hunter (Thorhoof) who can’t shoot a single arrow without shouting something. It is not only Naarman himself that’s a big talker, he also got very chatty chars.

Being a priest, he is a very helpful guildmember and knows a lot about other guildmember’s skills and professions. On the other hand he knows almost nothing about who’s got which alt or private stuff about people, but he’s got a “secretary” to help him with that ^^

Naarman started out as a shadowpriest and is a shadowpriest by heart. When he hit 60 he specked to holy in order to heal better in raiding. This meant that he was no longer very good at killing stuff, so whenever he needed to grind for something he would use his rogue, Razhel (and no its not pronounced as Rachel form “Friends”!). So Naarman was no longer a killer and his motto was “Im a lover, not a fighter”. But when they changed the BG’s and there were nice rewards to achieve, Naarman got taste for killing allys and when TBC came he respected to shadowpriest again.

Because of his love for the people, you will most likely not find him questing alone. When Naarman logs on, he will be in a group after five minutes, on his way to some instance that lasts 3 hours. He is definitely not afraid of committing to a raid even if it’s going to take a whole afternoon. So if you need a priest there’s a good change you can get Naarman to help you, but don’t expect him to go holy just to heal again – cause today he is a loving, talking killer.

Thank you Naarman, for being Naarman :)

Tiger Gossip 7

1. Raitmon is lvl 70 – grats!

2. Mulm is our new Joola! He is almost as much online as the old champion. So don’t say there’s no life after lvl70

3. Some people have mistaken Reinos for being Tiger Officer. Now, Reinos is a very wise Tauren (though he is too lazy to chew) but he would like everyone to know that he is in fact not an officer -so stop bugging him. Reinos’ rank is The Claw which means he is in Tigers progress group.

4. Mijo is lvl 70 – Yay! ^^

5. Rafal and Zaigerne are trying to take over the world starting with our guildchat. But lets face it - Rafal is too lazy to do anything about it and Zai would rather eat pizza.

6. Though on a wow-break, Irvana can be found online from time to time, entertaining us with funny mts (he is almost as good as me at those embarrassing mts now!)

7. More Tigers have installed Xfire – come join the fun!

8. Ravonz likes meat

9. Zai likes meat and girls

10. Timithy claims all Taurens are nothing but Big Macs! O.o (try not to eat him anyway)

[The picture: Celdora, Mulmy and Furonda bumped into eachother in Ogrimmar and had a little chat - how nice :)]

This Guildchat has so many topics that the there's just no right title for it. In Joolas portrait I said I haven't seen Joola hungover - turns out I have. But it all starts with someone stealing Uppfeldts account! *gasp* And then it goes crazy as usual...

[Joola]: you turn me on Reinos

[Reinos]: haha

[Uppfeldt]: Who what where?

[Mijo]: well Joola gets turned on by gnomes so don’t get too flattered Reinos

[Adriell]: I think Uppfeldt is a sexy devil, if I was gay I would pay all my gold for a naked photo :p

[Reinos]: haha

[Kraldor]: rofl

[Mijo]: Trallo? Is that you? O.0

[Saggy]:I want to go Arcatraz

[Joola]: I need to rest up now, damn hangovers, later

[Mijo]: I want to go to Disneyland!

[Saggy]: lol, u would?

[Adriell]: (save me, hurry, I live in a world of gay rogues)

[Kraldor]: im going with you mijo!

Stay Together Team!

So all this talk about keeping in touch even if you stop playing wow is all very well, but how do we do it? Well Reinos introduced us to the program Xfire some time ago and this is an excellent tool for our mission to keep Tiger together in the future. The program is free and can be downloaded on Xfires website here: www.xfire.com

Once you get your guildmembers (and other friends) on your contactlist you will be able to chat with them, just like on the famous Messenger (msn). So you don’t actually have to log into a game in order to talk to Tigers. But in addition to that you can also see what game they are currently playing. It will also show you what servers your friends are playing on, so you can log onto the same server if you want to play with them. You actually just need to click your friends name to join the same server. You can even see what your friends friends are playing. It supports over 800 games, its got voicechat and other features like showing your gaming status. Everybody goes: “What a wonderful program, I must have it”

I know Reinos, Perun, Naarman and myself got Xfire installed, but in order for this to work we need all Tigers interested in keeping in touch in the future, to download this program. When you got it installed you can find our usernames on the forum and add us as friends. Yay! ^^
And then ofcourse remember to write down your own username so others can add you in the future.

Now I’ve done my part in keeping Tiger together across games, now its time you do yours.

- Mijo

People taking breaks

Spring is here and the outside calls us after we have been sitting in front of the computer all winter. So it is around this time of year people decide to take a brake from wow which is probably healthy for most of us. It is also the time of year where people that study have to dedicate themselves to the books if they want to pass their exams in a couple of months.

Also new games are coming up and people want to try them out aswell. So all in all its not so weird if people are taking brakes atm. I wasn’t in the guild last summer but I know for a fact that a bunch of people took long brakes during summertime and they came back when It was about to end.

My point is, don’t be alarmed by people leaving Tiger atm. As long as people keep in touch on the forum and let us know if they play anything else than wow, we can still keep this bunch of nice people we call Tiger together.

So even if you want to play something else than wow some day, you don’t have to leave your friends in Tiger. Let us know where to find you, so that anyone else in Tiger who wants to join you are able to.

And you can’t underestimate the value of this guild. I think we are very social in guildchat and on the forum and also a lot of people have met irl. I know a lot of people that play wow in other guilds that are amazed that people actually want to travel and meet their fellow guildies. That just shows how special Tiger are.
