World of Wacraft is a mmorpg. While you can’t escape the mass multiplayer online part you can choose to play on a non rp server. Though I doubt people never do any sort of rp on those servers.

If you asked me if I’m a big rp’er id prolly say no cause i would compare myself to the hardcore rp guilds around. Some weeks ago I passed some Dance guys and they were having some sort of meeting in UC and I couldn’t help but smile. Cause however geeky it might seem, these guys really have fun and I enjoy watching them.

That said it’s not like we have no rp in Tiger at all. In fact people tend to play their character very well. Zaigerne is good at shouting big words to his people as a true leader and two tailed tauren should be. Them theres the almighty Brem who likes to put on a show by riding sloooowly around and be a big stubborn a…

Celdora always uses his environment wherever he goes: if there’s a bar he will order a drink, heck he will even drink directly off the barrel. And Uncle Fuzzy likes to talk a lot of priest rubbish as well, but he does that irl too so I dunno if it really counts. Well, I think all of us do a little rp once in a while and it’s always nice to bump into a Tiger that greets you with a mighty hail.

We also see a lot of rp on our raids and apart from killing allies I think that is one of the things that really makes raiding fun. And that’s why I like the little parties we have where everybody really plays their role and we get to see how people interpret their chars personality. So if you think about it Tiger really does a lot of rp. Sure some people more than others, but that’s the beauty of it – you can decide for yourself how much you wanna get into it.

I found these 2 books today... they were just lying around in some nelfs pocket, so i took them. The first one is suppose to be a steamy romance novel, but i found nothing steamy about it. Not even any eye juice sucking in it. Anyway, the other one has written "a rogues diary" on the cover, but all the pages inside are blank. So i thought, what the hell... ill start a diary like i used to do when i was...well alive.

Now I'm a part of Sylvanas' army... one of her soldiers, a so called forsaken. Long has it been since Ive tasted the food i put in whats left of my mouth and the only thing i smell today is fear. And the Alliance reek of fear. I don't mourn my own death, hell ill die again before being a part of the human race. I even forgot how to speak the human language. The only time i think about it is when i go to bed. I don't really need to sleep, i guess its just an old habit. But when i lie there in some bed in a lousy Inn, i miss the flesh on my hips that made it soft to lie down. But as i said... i don't think much about it. Ive been like this for so long i don't even remember how old i am anymore.

Only thing i think about is serving Sylvanas and getting more alliance blood and there's plenty of it out there. Oh and of course there's the men... unfortunately the undead males don't have any eyeballs which i like so much. Maybe this fascination of eyes is caused by the fact that i lost my own. I have one eye patch but it wouldn't make any difference if i had two on. Would look rather silly though i suppose.

Daggers used to be my favourite weapon cause i was able to move fast with them. But i got tired of the backstapping cause when i kill an ally i wanna see the fear in their eyes. So swords it is these days... i call the right one Sylvanas and the left one Thrall. I never had any children or pets, so these are my babies now.

Well nothing unusual happened today... i got new boots but as usual my pointy toes ruined them as i put them on... so i guess they fit the rest of my outfit now. Not like I'm gonna participate in some lame beauty contest anyway. This way it will at least hurt more when i kick those puny humans.

Now I'm gonna go drink away whats left of my liver and see if i can start a bar fight. Yarr!

/Mijo

Uncle Fuzzy had his first story night and it was a succes. It started out with a little suprice race where we had to get to Fuzzy first. The race started just outside UC and Fuzzy was at an island outside silverpine forrest. Poor Taurenal didnt have a chance without an epic mount and Brem tried tricking Samothrake into going back to UC because he claimed Samo had dropped some epics. It looked like a race between Brem and Samo but while they were busy a sneaky druid passed them in high speed and won the race! Kiaras won the feather that Fuzzys story was written with as a memory.

So we sat on a small island around cosy fires and listened to Fuzzys very scary but also funny story. When Fuzzy was done with the story ofc kiaras had to get naked so people jumped in the water. After that she claimed to be bloodthirsty so we had to go raid the alliance.

Our first mistake was to forget Zaigerne and Brem on the island, then we couldnt stick together as a group like we did so well last time and i dont know how many time we failed to take the right boat! But appart from that ofcourse we kicked ass and had fun. Wasnt easy though so we called in for backup and got Fayne and Hungybear summoned - but we had to escape and hide in order to do it. Later we also got Torkh to help...though he for some reason thought it was a good idea to leave the boat just as it took off...oh well he did a good tanking job when he was actually there anyway. Also we had reinforcements from our dear friend Smokzz (from Gods Of Chaos) who also helped us the last time we went on a killing spree. Thanks mate ;)

We all ended up in Darnassus and this time the allies seemed prepared (dammit!). So needless to say we didnt get that far, but atleast we got to say "BOO" before we tasted our own medicine. I decided that it was time to retriet when i died on a corpserun... face it, if you die when you are already dead - you have lost ;) But it was a really fun spontanious raid and a gr night as usual - so thanks for everybody participating and especially to fuzzy who took his time to arrange the story night.

[For those who don’t know how it all ended with the lvl 62 rogue: he got his ass kicked and ran. Then he got killed again :p]

Or as he recently called himself: Redcola (how clever). The first thing that is needed to say about Cel when it comes to wow is that he loves BG’s. In fact he doesn’t care much for questing and if it weren’t for the BG’s we prolly wouldn’t see him play wow at all. He used to do a lot of AB and WSG but that was before he discovered AV. First he didn’t care for it cause he was too low lvl to really pwn anyone (hehe he hates when people say pwn ^^). But these days it’s all he does really, even though he can go to outland he prefers the allykilling part more. And often you find his brother Shamael in the same BG so maybe it’s a family thing. Celdoras only problem is that he needs a bigger mailbox with all those marks he doesn’t know how to spend :p

As some of you might know he started out as an ally himself (bloody pala). Maybe that’s why he knows so much about how to kill them. I recon Celdora must be on the top five list of tigers who has killed most allys in their lifetime -)

BG’s isn’t the only way to kill allies so whenever there’s a raid going on in Tiger – Cel is there. As eager as he may be to kill allys he sometimes fall behind because he is busy doing his rp thing. I remember one time where he spooked me by saying “Stop! Stand completely still. There’s something behind you! I think that cat is following you!”. Ofc it was just my pet x) And he never forgets to brung booze with him on these raids so it’s a good idea to stay close if you wanna get wasted ;) Also he is the king of emotes and somehow remember the names of all the emotes I forget.

When I met Cel I was about 2 lvls higher than him and because he was in Bgs when I was out questing, that pretty much stayed that way. And yet Celdora always had (and have) more money than me. His secret was his AH addiction (something Kamelose can relate to I suspect). The big shopper he was you could always find him in the AH in Ogrimmar and if he had anything to sell today he would still be there.

As you may have noticed I have used a lot of different smiley’s in this post and I did it in the spirit of Celdora. You see he loves inventing new smiley’s and while others tend to stick to one or two types of smiley – Celdora uses the whole repertoire =)

I was gonna save this chat for a little while longer, but since Zai is so upset about the latest Tiger gossip i thought i'd better clear things up. And also I've heard that the power has gone to Kiaras' head so better end it before she makes a military coop! So here is the truth about how the rumors started about Kiaras and Nurgs being the true leaders of Tigers. And remember - theres a reason its called "gossip" and not "news" ;)

The sickpack part is true though.

A bunch of Tigers had a blast yesterday at an unplanned raid.

It all started with Faynes alt getting ganked and it's like they say in the Oceans 13 movie...

If you mess with one, you mess with them all.

And so the fun began :)

Thanks for a great raid where we really kicked some ally butt and worked together as a team. And to the rest of you, enjoy the show.

When Mijo was in her 40’ies I did a lot of battlegrounds and usually had fun with it. But to my surprise it
wasn’t the alliance who could ruin my fun as much as it was my own team. Everybody has their own strategy on how to win the battle and they just scream it out at each other, everybody thinking the others are wrong. There’s always more than one way to win a battle and one way can be just as good as another but some people think they are professionals who just got a lousy team. And that’s when the name-calling starts and if its only “noob” you hear – you are in luck! The language often gets way out of line and people simply forget than we are on the same team. Instead of focusing on the game they just spend their time telling the rest of the team how much they suck. And frankly that just isn’t very motivating for anyone.

Depending on my mood I sometimes butt in and ask people to say something constructive or don’t say anything at all. Sometimes it helps but unfortunately it’s rare that they have time to listen in between their own shouting. And sure sometimes people mess up, but it never helps to shout at them or spam BG chat with a long NOOOOB! Why not try and ask then nicely or just let it go?

Well I think you get my point. I don’t like the language you often find on BGs and it has sometimes made me quit when I’ve had enough. And it just surprises me that there’s not more team spirit, cause that’s often what makes us loose in the end. Instead there’s always a bunch of individual wanna be leader types and that’s just not the way it works. Some people even start out a game by saying stuff like “we don’t want a lvl 41 on our team” or “you got too crappy gear to be here!”. Yeah thanks guys, now I really wanna help you get your precious marks :P’

When I went to the BG I started out wanting to kill some allys but sometimes that quickly changes…

It’s a game and it sucks to lose sometimes, but it would still be fun doing BGs if people would just treat each other right. It’s always nice to end a game with “good job guys” – wither you win or lose. Because that makes you feel like going back and try again :)

After all BGs is all about working together and kick some ally ass –not going at each other!

A lot of people showed up at the beach party last night and we even had some suprice visits from former Tigers Persikka (aka Joola) and Mulm. Im very proud that so many of you supported this event. I know Reinos also wanted to be there, but the poor lad is sick atm - feel better buddy.

Some of us started out with a pool party in Grom Gol Base Camp while waiting for the rest of the party. Levius was very pleased to be the only guy in the small pool, but the party ended when a big tauren sat down in the middle of the pool asking “can I join your guild?”.

When people finally arrived we swam for the island where the Zalandar tribe lives. Some used cheathax with their blink abilities but Kiaras ruled the race by turning into a seal. When we got to the island I made a fire in order to get dry, but people were more interested in finding out what was for dinner. Turned out it was Brem! Tasted a bit like cheese ^^

Anyway, people got drunk and were dancing and fighting as usual. Levi cooled the water for us and fuzzy mainly checked out the babes (think he had an eye on Celdora but didn’t have any luck there). Some were a bit shy but mostly everyone got down to their swimwear. A lot of Tigers brought their pets but I was particularly fond of Ines’ pet Speedy.

After the party we swam to Westfall where some Tigers went on a killing spree. We met a lot of allys but most of them were too chicken to fight. Even a lot of lvl 70’s from The Old Goon Squad (pvp guild) didn’t dare fight us. So we went to Goldshire and visited the fare. We soon had our hands full with guards and allys, but I did find the time to try out the canon – wee!

My last stop was at Darkshire and sadly I had to leave. So I can’t tell you how the story ended, but if I know Brem right he stayed there most of the night.

We had a great time in Booty Bay some weeks ago where we had our pirate party. Ravonz already begged for more of the kind the same night!

So let’s see if we can make an equal success out of next Friday (the 08.06.07). We meet up in Grom Gol Base Camp at 20.00gt and ride to Westfall where Ravonz has found us a nice beach. I’ve been told there’s even a bridge and a little boat there.

Bring flint and timber and we will make cosy fires along the beach and have some drinks. Remember your swimsuits or whatever you got – I don’t wanna see any extra tails! Apart from that its all about meeting up, have a drink and a chat and then ofcourse beat up some alliance later. Who knows, maybe they will even come to us when they hear the laughter from our beach party? In case they don’t, Ravonz has got the honour of leading us on a raid.

I hope to see as many as last time and maybe even more! Doesn’t matter what lvl you are, we will escort you there or maybe some nice warlock can summon you. Remember to bring plenty of ale cause there’s no bars open for horde in that area ;)

Yes, it’s true...There IS in fact other games than World of Warcraft!

These days there are a lot of new exciting games coming up and people are trying out different things than our beloved World of Warcraft. As we have said many times before, you don’t have to leave Tiger if you move on to different games. Tiger is not only a wow guild but a community in itself and we would like YOU to stay, even if you get tired of wow (however that is possible?).

So share your gaming experience and tell us about other games out there worth giving a try. Just like Perun is doing in his “Peruns gaming travels” that we all love to read. We don’t demand that you make your posts as long as Peruns though ;)

From today there’s a whole new section on our amazing Tiger forum called “Other Games” – meaning other games than wow of course. This is where we discuss other games, old as new, wither it’s for PC or game consoles. I hope you will all welcome the new section and use it as you have (ab)used the rest of the forum :)
