So our dear Kiaras finally got the promotion she deserves and can now be called officer! Grats dear :)

Now that Kiaras is part of the leading crew you should get to know her a little better. And what you prolly didn't know is that she doesn't always run around killing allys or hang out in Karazhan. No no, in fact she earns a little extra money on the side by performing. And dont judge her; you would do the same if you had the same looks and the silky voice ;)

I don't know who the guys in the back are since Levius sheeped them, but you are more than welcome to take a guess :)

I present to you: Kiaras!

So yesterday Naarman and myself landed in Denmark, back from a great holiday in Slovenia at our old friend Perun. Going there was something very different than anywhere we have been before, so it was a great experience to see something new. We landed in Vienna and also went on a one day trip to Hungary and saw Budapest, so actually we got to go through 3 countries in a week! We almost ended up in Croatia as well but lets not get into details there.

Slovenia has really beautiful nature that we ended up taking a lot of pictures of, but what they got most of is definitely and without a doubt: Corn!. So i made up this little song:

Besides the corn we saw the capital city, a big cave, some huge lakes and some beautiful old castles. Friday the boys got their aggressions out by playing paintball and the rest of the time we just "meditated" trying not to boil over in the heat! We were also blessed with the company of Tigers own Tickyl and former Tiger Vanja aka Voda - which to Naarmans big dissapointment we found out means "water" in Slovenia. But anyway it was nice to meet you two as well ;)

We would like to thank Perun for opening his house for us and showing us the country by driving many many miles - we really appreciate it. And ofc you are welcome here in the flat and cold land of Denmark if you for some reason think that sounds good :)

As ive told before, Naarman and me are leaving for Slovenia tomorrow. So unless i get a sudden urge to brag about the nice weather down there this blog will be silent for a week! *Gasp* how will you survive without the Tiger gossip for so long? Well im sure the other officers will be sure to inform you of anything important on the forum and concerning the gossip i would appresiate any info you can collect during the week....this is your time to rat eachother out tigers! Maybe its time that your guys decide what should be in the next tiger gossip.

So spam me away with those dirty details and if i get enough ill make a gossip post out of it when i return ;)

Heres what the quest for the treasure hunt was all about and how you were suppose to do it. As ive said before, many people completed it, but not in the way intended. So here is how it should have gone. This is also for the people who didnt attend this event and so we can look back at this day with tears in our eyes many years from now and say - boy did we have fun messing up this one ^^

It all started in Grom Gol were Kiaras gave this message to people:
"Muuh to all you Tigers and thank your for aiding me in my quest. I need your help with it and the ones helping will be rewarded. The first one to complete this chain of quests will be rewarded most. I want you to collect one mysterious meat, those you can find on the crokolisk. Then i want you to find green hills of stranglethorne 2 pages, any pages. When you have found those items come back to me and i will lead you on to the next quest. go go go!"

This is where only Brem and Celdora went to find the pages and the meat but we will let that one slide for now. When the items were collected people should return to Kiaras who would tell them to sell the pages and buy some spices instead. Then people should read their mail that would tell them to go to Swamp of Sorrows to get one small flame sac. After that Kiaras send them all to Zaigerne in Ogrimmar that made a nice stake out of the ingredients people had gathered. He asked them to buy some wine and go to Irvana in Barrens who met them with this message:

"Oh...another adventure that disturbs me... no no no....the wine is not for me, take it to Kiaras (who had to be replaced by mijo). Shes slacking off in the Thunder Bluffs pools of vision. Oooh but first i want you to get 15 wool and 18 bloodshards from the pigmen... and dont disturb me AGAIN"

After gathering the items people would find Mijo in the pools who gladly took all the wine but told people to sell the shards and buy some thread instead. This was to be used with the wool at the next post in UC where Naarman made everybody a nice dress. This was so they could face their leader in some decent clothes when they finally finished the quest at Zaigerne. Originally mijo (or kiaras actually) was suppose to send people from TB to Zaigerne who would be in UC, but it turned out there wasnt time for Zaigerne to travel (since he was afk) so i had so send them directly to Naarman who had taken Irvanas place as the tailor. In Undercity Zaigerne was suppose to say:

"How dare you hrmph. Do not bow in front of me in those filthy clothes. Over there Naarman stands. Beg him to make you an outfit that is worthy of me and these fine halls. Then you can come back to me and i might talk to you".

Zaigerne was spared of being this rude leader and instead he greated people in ogrimmar as the final post and took them to a party in Brill. The whole idea of the quest was that each participant ended up with something to eat, something to drink and some nice clothes; ready to party (yeah i had to give all the wine back, hrmph).

This was all cleverly planned by our dear Kiaras who has much more of this kind up her sleeve. In fact she has planned an rp event like this each month so now theres no excuses for having fun :)

We got some familiar faces back to Tiger and also a bunch of new people joined us so if you are confused about who joined and rejoined this should clear things up for you. It can be hard to keep track even for a sneaky rogue like me but i hope i got this right:

The time for Naarman and me to go visit Perun in Slovenia is near and it makes me look back on all the Tigers i have met since just December last year. It all started when Naarman and I went to live at Kiaras and Zaigernes place for a weeks time. Of course we met Kiaras' evil lock brother Irvana (who turned out to be lesser evil irl) and all their nice little cats (mini tigers!). Harriy was nice to make us a nice meal when we arrived and we also met Nurgs and a very dancing Kloro. We also had the opportunity to meet a bunch of very nice Dance Macabre people while we where there. It was a very nice and relaxing trip to Sweden we would have never had gone on ourselves and we got to meet some really kewl people as well. So thanks for the hospitality guys.

New years eve some crazy drunk guy named Fuzhill called Naarman to wish us happy new year and we decided that we had to meet this guy. So he and his gang Vhena, Farukh and Levius came to visit us and we had a really nice evening and was sad to say goodbye. So not long after that we got invited to Vhena and Farukhs place for a party where we met 2 nice Tigers called Aurelius and Torkh. The first one talked a lot while the second one fell a sleep. But we had the opportunity to meet Torkh again at Lillithias place when she invited for a big Tiger/Dance macabre party in Malmö. It was a really fun party and this time there was also some Norwegian people named Mulm and Kamelose who could tell us some crazy stories from their home country. Always nice to meet some fellow pirates and we got to say hello to some familiar tiger faces as well.

We have had the Swedish gang over to watch some soccer also and we tried to arrange a meeting with those who went to the Roskilde festival this year but regrettably failed. Maybe next time lads.

Later this year im going on a little adventure on my own to Finland to stay at Pulco and SHamaels place. Now theres a place i didnt think i would find myself ever but now i have the oppertinuty because of some nice people who are willing to open their homes for a rogue. And im returning the favour by kidnapping Pulco back home with me so she can experience Denmark and our couch ^^

Also we are working on meeting Reinos and Loocotus some day and hoping to come back to that nice little place where Kiaras and Zai lives. And if you havent met any Tigers yet you should come to Liseberg the 8/9 this year where Kiaras and Zaigerne will be waiting for any Tigers that might show up.

We have only have nice experiences with meeting fellow guildies and its really great that a game like wow can give you something social outside the virtual world as well. We get to meet people and see places we would not have seen without wow so it has really opened up the world for us.

I cant wait to get on that plane this sunday and meet the old chap Perun and im looking forward to meeting more Tigers in the future :)

1. Tiger's first Karazhan raid went well and the team killed the first boss. The people who went there was: Mourke, Kiaras, Torkh, Tsin, Mulm, Irvana, Bullus, Kamelose, Samothrake and Zaigerne and according to the last one those guys rocked :)

2. We got a new warrior in the guiled named Ordarin - Welcome mate. He is a friend of Timithy so now you are all warned ;)

3. Shreky has revealed that his main is an ally so dont trust him with any information! :p

4. After a lot of grinding Reinos finally got his epic flying mount - grats!

5. Razhel (alt of Naarman) is now lvl 60 - gz

6. Naarman is lvling his enchanting so if you bring the matts he will gladly make something sparkling.

7. Kiaras has been so kind to take some screenshots from Karazhan so us noobs can see what it look like ;) Find them in our album on photobucket.com

As you know I made us a little photoalbum on photobucket.com where we can all upload screenshots of Tigers or other fun wow stuff. But to be frank its not so little anymore, since i just uploaded more than 100 pictures just today! Just from the raid we had that started of with Faynes alt getting ganked and some Tigers came to the rescue, i have uploaded 110 screenshots! And theres even more from that particular raid since i havent counted screenshots of chats and pictures that didnt turn out well. So you can see that this process of putting most of my screenshots there takes a while.

That I take many screenshots isnt the only thing that makes sorting them all out difficult - I also have stuff on different computers. Some are on my pc and some on Naarmans. Sometimes I even have half an events pictures on one pc and the other half on another, cause i switched pc in the middle of it. So that doesnt make things esier. Besides that, I even have some old screenshots on an extra hard disk and some on a flash disk. So sorting out wow screenshots is exactly as chaotic as sorting out real pictures.

I took screenshots before I started writing the blog ofc, but now I take much more because I never know when im gonna need it. First off I have to take screenshots of chats if theres something funny going on that I wanna share with those not online. Also I take pictures of every Tiger I pass by cause I might need a picture of that person for the blog some day. So needless to say I got a lot of pictures stored that I wouldnt have bothered to take if it wasnt for this blog. I guess being a reporter here also means being a photographer :)

1. This Sunday (15.07.07) there's a raid for Karazhan (that is if enough people show up). Remember that you have to sign up in the groupcalendar and you must be attuned to enter Karazhan. If you dont have groupcalendar theres a link here on the blog where you can download it. Be outside Karazhan at 19.00gt.

2. The following Sunday (22.07.07) theres another raid where Zai is leading us to take over yet another part of the world. For the fang!

4. Cjb (alt of Ogger) is now lvl 60 - grats!

5. Naarman has been recruiting slaves in Tiger in order to lvl his tailoring. But have no fear cause now he is 375 in tailoring - grats.

6. Old Greendoks has been in USA for more than 6months and havent been able to play wow, but this weekend he returns - so beware!

7. Tiger got its very own photoalbum on www.photobucket.com. Password and username will be on the forum. Feel free to upload any screenshots you have, but please dont upload anything irrelevant now that i have trusted you with the code. So far i have only uploaded some pictures in the subalbum called "family album" but there will be loads more in time. You can also create more subalbums if needed. So check it out :)

Zaigerne lead Tigers, some Dance Macabres and some total strangers into the capital city of the nelfs last night and we conquered by killing the nelf queen! I believe we ended up with a raid of 25 people and with Zais leadership we more or less managed to move as one group. But only more or less ;)

I personally liked the way it all started when Zai made us walk in a line behind him through Ogrimmar (yeah he really must like showing that he is the leader ^^). And people around us went "wtf is going on??".

Thanks for taking us to victory Zaigerne and good job everybody :)

Heres some quick news:

1. Tonight at 19.00 Zaigerne will lead us on a raid and Tigers will take over the world! We meet in Ogrimmar.

2. Bullus and Delea are back in Tiger - welcome back

3. Mulm is also back in the guild - wb norsk!

4. Furonda (alt of Mijo) is now operating as guildbank. So if you have anything you dont need, but others might be able to use - send it to Furonda and I'll see if i can find a new owner :)

5. We got a new guy in the guild, name is Shreky and he already makes a pretty good "yarr". Welcome mate.

6. Kiaras treasure hunt was a success and therefore there will be more events like that in the future - yay!

So as people around me tend to know - I have very crappy gear for a lvl 70! This means all green items around lvl 65 I got from quests or a drops somewhere. Was fine at the time, but cause people have done instances or bg's after they dinged 70 - they ofc have much better gear than me now. When mijo turned 70 I spend some time (and a lot of gold) to lvl my leatherworking a bit and atm im just lvling cooking that ive recently learned. And ofc been killing allies. Anyway, Ive just been messing around with her ever since ´lvl 70 and not getting new gear - but i had a lot of fun!

One of the explanations is that I've been busy with rl and haven't played much, but honestly it seems like a huge project to get good gear - so I gave up in advance. Just look at how busy poor Timithy has been lately trying to get his shoulders and with no luck (therefore not said Tim has crappy gear as me - not at all).

Though it can be fun sometimes I don't have the patience to run the same instances again and again or do a lot of pvp for that matter. And then I think to myself - and what is it exactly I'm gonna do when im done with getting good gear? Well it would be nice to win more one on ones when we go on raids, but that's just not motivation enough for me. Cause I have fun either way as long as i got Tigers with me :)

So since lvl 70 Ive been calling myself a poor excuse for a rogue given the bad gear I carry. Cause lets face it - sometimes it is a matter of gear who wins. But recently I discovered that im not a poor excuse of a rogue. Ofcourse I would be better with better gear, but at least its not like I don't stand a change on other lvl 70ie with better gear! This was very surprising to me, so could it be that Ive just been told that gear means everything - but its not really that bad? Or does this just make me a very imba rogue since I can still put up a fight with this old gear? ^^ Either way, im not gonna try and get new gear right away cause recently ive gotten more confidence with the way mijo is right now.

I wrote this post some weeks ago, before a bunch of people started pointing out to me that i have very green gear. So i didnt write this because some people have pointed that out recently - but i published it now cause now im really sick of all the whispers i get about it. So to make it very clear: yes, i am aware i got green gear and unless you are gonna get me something better, its non of your business ;)

So big ups to all you people with crappy gear out there who is not embarrassed about it - cause it still hurts when we poke your epixs! ;)

Also big ups to you guys who fight to get the gear you want - good luck!

So last night we had a treasure hunt well planned by Kiaras. Besides Kiaras, Zaigerne, Irvana and Naarman also had roles and lines and places to be. Everything was planned and i had even been used as testsubject to avoid mistakes. Only thing i had to do was to take a lot of screenshots and rapport back to the people today. But then...1 minute before the race started, both Zaigerne and Naarman had to go! I could take over Naarmans part fairly easy and his pc stands right behind mine so changing from one character to another wouldnt be a problem. Zaigerne on the other hand had a very significant role and was suppose to be more than one place during the hunt. Plus even though Zaigerne and Kiaras´ pcs are in the same house...one is upstairs and the other is downstairs. So poor Kiaras had to run up and down from one char to another all night!

It also messed everything up in the beginning of the race because Kiaras had to send out a letter to all players before time - cause that was originally Zai's job since Kiaras wouldnt be able to make it in time. So people raid their mails and thought that was the first thing they should do and just took of before Kiaras could give them the first task. When everybody came back and got their real instructions - they still went for the second part of the quest first! SUre you could do it in the opposit way around, but it meant that Kiaras' directions would be very confusing when they returned. And poor Brem who seemed to be the only one starting out as he was suppose to got confused because he was the only one still in grom gol and not swamp of sorrows. But you got to give the mighty warrior credit for being so smart. Zirrath got some extra stress added to his quest as he had to fight his way through some alliance before being able to continue.

Because people didnt actually followed eachother, but came one by one, we realised that Kiaras couldnt be at her second post in Thunder Bluff in time for the first arrivers and still be there for the last ones in Grom Gol. We had no idea where people were cause we threw them out of the raid so they didnt have any looting issues - so we couldnt tell if everybody was threw the posts.
So i had to run to TB and take Kiaras place in the pool, quickly making macros before the first one got there. Problem was that the person i had to send them to was Naarman...who at the time also was me! lucklily Naarman returned just before the first contestant arrived at his post. I send the first 2 people to Zai in UC, but he was still in Ogrimmar - so we had to change some more in the plan! In the end everything turned out right even though a few people actually got the wrong instructions from time to time ^^

But i think Kiaras did very well running up and down those stays, doing her greatest multitasking job ever! (you should put that on your raceme: "i can control 2 chars in wow at the same time even thought the pcs are on different floors!"). And i also think we addapted well to the quick changes we had to make.

Another thing we had to decide during the treasure hunt was...well the rules. Some people already had the items required for the quests or bought them in AH instead of killing mobs. SO was it cheating or was it cleaver? WEll, in a normal quest the npc's dont care if you bought the items, so we made the same rule here. But we should have made the rules clear from the beginning so everbody knew what opportunities they had. TO make it clear: Our winner Levi didnt cheat - cause there were no rules. And though he did sneak on to our very very secret channel on TS we threw him out before he could hear anything. Next time we are gonna make a long list of rules before the race though, to avoid any misunderstandings like these.

Apart from all the confusion, the "questgivers" had a good time and i hope all the contestants had fun as well. If people are up for it there will be yet another event -not quite like the treasure hunt but similar in some ways - and hopefully planned even better.

I would like to say good job to the people that completed the quest and also to the ones helping out by playing questgivers. But most of all thanks to Kiaras for putting this event together and using her time at work for making up all the details ;)

My guild is called Tiger. There’s not many real tigers in it though... except for a few pets. There’s undeads like me but also trolls, taurens, orcs and recently also bloodelfs. Though I don't like the idea of letting elves into our guild... they are so puny and full of themselves if you ask me...not Horde material at all.

When we fight side by side trust is very important, but when it comes down to it I don’t know if I can trust anyone of these simple creatures. I need them though. We are at war and Sylvanaas needs every soul willing to fight on our side. But in war there is no guarantees and I try not to get too close to anyone… you never know who turns on you and becomes a traitor. Sometimes it can even be undeads. Yeah I've seen my share of leavers, but I know a few horde fellas that always cover my back. I just hope they won’t turn on me someday. Rests assure they will regret it!

But I guess that is what you can expect cause as they say; in love and war all tricks count. I know it’s true in war, but as for the love part it’s hard to tell when you no longer have a heart. Well I haven’t exactly checked if it’s there still but it stopped beating anyway. I don’t complain though, makes it a lot easier to stay long under water which can be very useful for surprise attacks! Also I don’t let feelings get in my way like those other simple guildies of mine. They are alright though...its nice to have company in these times. Sometimes i just need to be alone with my thoughts though... but they give me space for that too...or they know they will meet my two friends Thrall and Sylvanas!

Time to earn some quick money, my fingers get all tingly when i see full pockets!

It's gonna be a race against time and fellow Tigers - and it will get messy! Because whatever this quests is asking you to do, it is doubtful that there's enough questitems for everybody. And needles to say: There's only one prize to be found in the end.
