Tiger - Venture Co.

A lot of comics has been inspired from different games, including world of warcraft. To name a few there's "The Noob", "The flaming ruby", "Control+Alt+Delete", "Heroes of wow", "Penny Arcade. If you havent read these you should really check them out!

Sometimes wow get inspired by other games as well: Super Mario theme!

But theres also some cartoons that was here before wow, that has taken inspiration in some of their episodes. Like Simpsons og Southpark. These are so classic now that i thought they diserved a post of their own. Unfortunatly i couldnt find the original episode of southpark so you will have to do with this version:

Where you so eager to get startet when you created your character that you just named it after your kidbrother? Or did you - like Naarman - make a character when you where drunk and regreated your choise of name later on?

Well either way Blizzard will soon make it possible to change your character names! So if you named yourself lets say hmm...meatstick or something too close to "mijo" you should soon be able to change it ;)

It will ofcourse cost money, so be sure to pick the right name this time! If you need inspiration try to use this namegenerator

I think this is something that a lot of people have really waited for, but my God it can be confusing if you dont inform us of your namechange! So please remember to tell us on the forum when the time comes.

Only problem with this feature is that all those bastards that we put on ignore can just change their names and then we dont have a change to recognize them! But hopefully it wont be too populair to change ones name.

I personally like the names of all my characters even if i am the only one able to pronounce it right. But to all of you who have been thinking of getting a new name - now is the time to go back to the drawing table and figure out a new name. And when the time comes be sure to be quick so nobody else takes your new great name before you!

Over the years a lot of movies has been turned into computer games like recently LOTR and Transformers. It usually goes from book to movie, and from movie to games.

But the concept also works the other way, so movies are inspired by games. I remember an arcade game from 1987 called Doubble Dragon were you walked down a street and just beat up everybody (yes i am that old :p). The neat thing about this game was that you could play corporative! That same year the classic Street Fighter series had is premiere and both games where eventually made into movies in 1994. In Street Fighter the movie non less than
Jean-Claude Van Damme starred! Other fighting games like "Mortal Kombat" and Dead or Alive has been made into movies as well.

In 1996 Tomb Raider hit the streets and i got to admit i only played the tutorial part cause i found it so amusing to run away from the old butler all the time ^^. Laura Craft starred in her first movie in 2001, played by Angelina Jolie and the sequel came in 2003. Also in 2001 the Final Fantasy games got animated into a really nice movie!

As a kid i played a lot of Doom2 and its still one of my favorite games till this day. But i never dared to play Doom3 cause its way to scary now that graphics got so much better! I did dare to watch the movie they made about it in 2005 tho. I liked it simply because it was the Doom universe, but other might not think it was so great. Think you have to be a fan to really like it, but the part were they film it as a fps gamer is really kewl.

Another series of games i never dared playing is resident evil. Dark places and zombies supricing you just isn't my thing - i get scared from watching someone else play it even. The game was first published in 1996 for Playstation and many has followed since. The first movie came in 2002 starring Milla Jovovich as the zombie slaying hero. In 2004 the second movie came and this year the third movie called "Extinction" has already been released in some countries. Im definitely gonna go see that one soon.

Another movie based on a game will have its premiere in 2007 and its the danish developed game called Hitman! (hehe i had to say its danish ^^). I have never played the game myself but
basically its about a balled guy killing a lot of people in somewhat brutal ways. I know a lot of people are looking forward to this one, and i always think its fun to watch movies based on some sort of video game.

And here the point of my post come: Somewhere in 2009 there should be a movie out called "Warcraft" starring our very own Thrall - but told mostly from The Alliance side! The time of the movie is set about 1 year before World of Warcraft begins and it should be a real warmovie :)

This month Tigers were on a quest to protect young lvl 1 Inoocent against the cruel world. Here is her story of what happened. (written by Irvana)

(sigh) Where are they? I’m cold and lonely...Inoocent though....

Looking down the road I did see a dust cloud...my pulse started to rise...my heart to beat harder.

It must be them....oh my......I cant show my self for the Famous tigers in these rags......(eeekkk what to do)

(luckily the mighty leader of Tigers was wise and brought poor Inoocent a dress..)

(After changing her rags to the black dress and made sure Zaigerne dident look... she came out of the hut in valey of trials, and greeted the rest of Tigers. She was overwhelmed...so many just to protect me she thought...but...Im nobody....

-Uhm ...hi all..I’m very pleased to meet you. Thanks for coming here.

The mighty leader Zaigerne presented me as very important....I just don’t know.. am I? Perhaps he see something that is important in me, that non other could. My thoughts where spinning...my heart was beating... it was hard to focus on the tigers....ohh god..i never felt like this before..

Zaigerne made a gesture and we started walking.

I’ve never been outside the small village, so it was al new to me.

From time to time I did see new strange things.. and just had to look closer on them.(Oooohhhhh what a cute piglet). But for some reason I could not comprehend Tigers did not meet that whit same joy as I did... I guess they seen pigs before...and human thingys...the path I left behind me was literd whit corpses and smoke...but the path in front of me was lit whit light and love...

I just know I had to keep walking and not look back...there was so many new things to see so many new spots in the world to visit...and still this urge to keep moving. I don’t know what it is.. something pulling me, what am I seeking?

When i lived in my small village I could never have guess the world was this big...I have now seen the great savanna...and after that,the endless vale of pillars they call thousand needles.

Its a fun name and not very accurate....every one knows needles are made of iron and are small..(giggles) any how, we went up on a plateau and in to a village to take a brake.. wow you could see far from there

A wizard told me to not look down...for many had not the skill as he had....what ever that meant....I guess he was just pulling my leg, because he was waving whit a silly feather.

After the brake we came to a deep desert. Boy it was hot but in it self beautiful as nothing else I seen...sand white as the peasblooms leafs..and glittering..

Where I live the sand is red ...as it should be of course...any how...after some time we reach the end of the desert and start climbing a mountain pass...ok it was’nt that hard.

The urge to move on. To follow this mystical song in my heart, got stronger...and whit all my fellow tigers running by my side we soon got to a weird looking town of goblins.

We met many new and exciting things on the journey and I made loots of friends...witch some of them did not live long enough ......tiger was very protective. I still don’t know why that cute little dino could not be my friend?....oh but I get a head of my self.. let me tell you bout the odd city of goblins

it was a mayhem of machines and huts...not at all as I am used to see. A city and in the middle a dome of metal I did not dare to get close to it. Around us where many Allys...old enemies of Tigers and all horde.

As I told you all before. the urge to move was strong so we did not stay long...we started to run again thru a even bigger desert...filled whit funny little cute birds and puppies...witch of course tigers did not let me cuddle with

Suddenly....between 2 pillars the desert ended .and a deep sloop appeared whit lush jungles below.

Strange sounds echoed up to us and I sensed my hart skip a beat...I got this feeling that this jungle would be my doom...but still my heart led me down there, I had to go.

The sloop was not hard but the air starting to get hot and humid...soon we where in a swamp of some kind...and sounds came to us from all over...I was now afraid...my hart beating hard...you could hardly see anything in this green maze. The sun hardly reach down to us...

Suddenly something came rushing towards me I jumped and screamed...Tigers fought whit all might to compel the rushing but they failed me...The impact of the beast tore my hart out and when I lied down in the swampy grass looking up in Zaigernes eyes i could see tears....then just blackness................

The 21th this month Tigers will try to protect Inoocent again - lets see if we can keep her alive this time ;)

It started with Zefaria telling me, -Kia you need to do some pvp.

Then she showed me the epic druid healing gear that I could get only by killing allys. That didn’t sound too boring. The big issue was ofc if I could kill anything with my healing gear and spec. But she explained that I only need to heal the guys doing damage and fling in a moonfire if I had the time and mana.

[Kiaras]: Oki.. this I would try out.

Zefaria invited me to the party and entered us in the battlefield EOS, Eye of the storm. Never heard about it tho. It ended up being very funny. I killed, I healed and we won…. and lost. I saw the marks multiplying in my bags.

Then Zefaria left me for RL things but I kept going. This time with Slashers as my sidekick. He kept the evil Allys away from me while I healed everybody that needed it. Oh my god if I didn’t get my teeth bloody. I ended up doing eos for 2 days and I got my marks… now im killing for the honor. I see my epic healing gear in the horisont.

And then it came to me… I have to do this again, again and again for every epic that I want. So I better get starting.

Everyone that wants to join me in killing allys are always welcome.

Yesterday the famous Darkmoon Faire came to Terrokar Forest (for location see the picture of the map). Here you can find some very interesting people like someone who is claiming to be the strongest woman in the world! (which of course cant be true since this woman is a human pfffft). But she can be useful anyway, cause if you gather the items she wants, she will give you a ticket that can be traded into items and special equipment.

Then theres the gnome Sayge who is a fortune teller and will give you a buff if you simply answer some questions. Also remember to stop by the vendors here as they sell items that can be hard to find - of course it is limited how much they have so you gotta hurry before someone else gets it!

Don't have any epics yet? Well then you might wanna go look for some cards scattered all over Azeroth, cause if you can gather a whole set of cards you will be rewarded with an epic trinket!

Still haven't found a good reason to go to the Darkmoon faire? Well i have saved the best for last; The booze is really cheap! :D

But be careful entering or even being near the faire, cause lots of allys are too and as Celdora and I experienced there yesterday - they are not all friendly! (gasp! o'rly?). You can take that as a warning or as a pvp tip ;)

The Darkmoon fair stays in Terrokar Forest till nov. 12.

Just to show that: Brem isnt the only one making funny mistakes sometimes, yes Mijo CAN get upset and not everybody are ecstatic about turning lvl 70.
