Molten Core de-briefing #5

First and foremost

Good job everyone!

We went into MC yesterday on a totaly unplanned raid. Instance didn't reset yet, Luci was still dead so we took a shot at Magmadar. We got the tactics down, but on the first try we didn't stick to the plan we layed out, so we wiped. Second try, Lekray was keeping a beautiful stream of aggro with only getting feared once during the entire fight. It was a rather long fight, but the big dog was down. Killing Magmadar resulted in hounds not respawning anymore, so we just cleared our way back to Gehennas. First try on Gehennnas we wiped very fast, as someone pulled a couple of fire giants from behind. Second try we got it almost right, but people kept forgetting to step out of the fire rain, we wiped at 1%. On third try we killed him seemingly without much effort.

Some decent loot dropped with people spending their DKP.

I urge everyone again to always check their own DKP standings before we go to the raid, so that when it comes to bidding, you know how much points you have for spending.

Today we will attempt on killing Garr, while the instance is still clean, so that we at least know what he looks like and what he does next time we go in.

Planned raids are on WENDSDAYS and SATURDAYS, so those of you that are tight with time, can join those raids. In the beginning, and since its summer, we will be able to raid more days, but I doubt we will be able to do it every-day long term. No matter the starting enthusiasm, it will kill the fun in it, and burn out our players. Personally I think that will also stop, once we hit the harder bosses that you have to prepare for, farm materials for potions etc. so you can't just run into the instance just like that and kill things.

Good work everyone! and lets try giving hell to Garr today.

Cheers!

Perun
