Portrait 1

Portrait: Kraldor!

(This is the first portrait in a series of Tiger potraits.)

My first impression of Kraldor was that he was prolly around the same age as me (in the 20’ies) mainly cause of the way he wrote in guild chat, since I had never grouped with him or anything. So I was very surprised to hear that he was actually one of our youngest members in Tigers! So he deserves credit for acting so mature (and for being so good at English already!), but don’t tell him that u never would have guessed his age cause he will go “yeah I know I sound a lot older than I am – I rule!”. Ok, maybe he won’t say exactly that, but something similar. So Kraldor doesn’t have any self confidence issues though I thought that was required in his age ^^

Anyway, as stated below he just turned lvl 70. And even if you haven’t read it here, you have prolly heard it in guild chat, because Kraldor likes to make countdowns when he is close to a new lvl (or not close at all). He can be a real spammer when he is close to getting a new lvl, like “ok guys 8 bars to new lvl, 7½ bars to new level…..” and there goes a whole afternoon with Kraldor in the guild chat.

But Kraldor is also a very polite young man. Often when he writes something directed to me in guild chat – like “hello” or “grats” – he will make sure I get the message by also giving me a /w about it. That is actually very nice, but I don’t know anyone else that would do that. Maybe it is part of his spammer genes, but just so we are clear – Kraldor is not the type that goes “omg omg omg” in chats ^^

As most Tigers I know, Kraldor likes to have fun and has a sense of humour. When he is on hos flying mount you will hear stuff like this from him: “Hello, welcome to Kraldors flying service. You are flying in a Boeing 000…please fasten your seatbelts….smoking isn’t allowed.” And yes that was a quote.

When he got his flying mount, he was of course out giving it a try and flew to me to show it (and to brag!). Since he was already lvl 70 he wasn’t in a hurry and decided to help me in my questing while sitting on his mount almost the entire time. This meant that Kraldor didn’t always had an eye on his fellow low lvl tiger (me!) and forgot the fact that there could be dangerous animals in the water where she was. So while he was safe and happy up in the air on his new mount, Mijo died below him – alone (as you can see on the picture above). A very bitter Mijo took no responsibility for her death, since she believed she had an imba warlock watching her back, but in fact the only thing he was watching was the view of the lake. Since Kraldor was so excited about his new lvl and new mount, he is forgiven for this after many, many apologies.

Kraldor may not always be focused on the task ahead, but he certainly makes my stay in tiger a little more colourful.

Comments:
Oh! and I wondered what the shiny warlock on the flying mount has to do with the withered, tortured corpse in the second picture ...

... oh well the story explained that.

Aerial support has a history of mistakes, like droping napalm on their own troops - I guess the world has a different perspective up there :P

... on a side note - anyone noticed how druids got nerfed now that I started playing one? ... sooo ... anyone wants a class nerfed? - I'll create oen ASAP :P

I like Kraldor :) He is a really nice guy.

no plz dont mate :( just get back to you warrior since you stopped that they are going to make them better again

cheers

Noooooo Perun.. go back to your warrior.
And Mijo. As usually you wright like a god, you made me want to meet Kraldor, but he is nowhere to be seen..or do I not look high enough?

/Kiaras

A hint for kiaras; Kraldor once said to me that if I needed him, I should just look for the warlock with the small wand ^^ But i recon you will find him in the air in Outland these days.

And I agree with Brem, Kraldor is a nice guy - and i hope that is clear in the potrait, in spite of the little story about my unprotected (and therefore dead) body :p
