Potrait: Mulm & Kamelose These guys get to share a portrait – not because they are that much alike, but because they are rl friends and say a lot of the same bulls(biip) :p
As some of you know these guys are from Norway (the part of Scandinavia that needs to be blown away in order to make Sweden the penis of Europa – Finland would be the balls). This means they got their own version of the word “Yarr” that would prolly be spelled something like “Yarrrrrrrr”. But it doesn’t matter how you say it, as long as you say it, and spell it right (that goes for you too Farukh!). These guys also taught us to say “NORSK” which can be used as a replacement to the old “Yarr”.
Mulm was one of the first guys to jump on the whole “Yarr” wave and has been with us pirate from the beginning. Way back when most though us pirates were silly, Mulm wasn’t afraid of talking pirate in guild chat and he deserves credit for being a brave rogue. Mulm was originally known as Zirhaan but got tired of playing shammy. Today he has come to his senses and plays a sneaky rogue. You always have to give orc rogues some credit for being able to hide, thought they are big, green and smelly (smells like roses ofcourse).
Kamelose is a very busy man irl, with school and work and everything – so I haven’t had the pleasure to talk to him that much in game. But I met him irl and he is the talker of these two guys. Oh yes, Kamelose is the big storyteller and gladly shares his adventures with others even if it is about VIP latex parties! (in his defence, he claims this was a one time event). No, Kamelose is not a dirty boy, even if he got a very suspicious name. As some of you might have noticed the name “Kamelose” is very close to the phenomenon known as “kameltoe”. A lot of us have had the thought, but Ghroktar was brave enough to point this out to him. It turned out that Kamelose was completely oblivious to this resemblance and he had no intension to make a reference to “kameltoe”. Turns out he got the name from a movie about the Danish language:
Ah yes, Kamelose is pretty innocent after all, thought he later stated to have seen an actually kameltoe on his char while swimming and getting the “camera” in a funny angel. We are still waiting for screenshots. A bonus info on Kamelose would be that he is some what of a economic geek and love anything to do with finances. This means that sometimes he logs into wow just to browse the market on AH for an hour, and in that way wow can be homework to Kamelose.
Some may find Mulm’s name funny as well, but there is also an explanation to this name. The word “Mulm” actually means “complete darkness” in Norwegian and is very suitable for an evil rogue as himself. It seems these guys just don’t do things without a reason.
Since Mulm and I are around the same lvl, I have grouped a bit with him and it is always a pleasure. If you quest with him you have to remind him of picking up quest items though, cause otherwise he will just run right past them (good thing he is not a herbalist!). And if you both need the same items, he will be the last one getting them, because he is a slow looter, so remember to stay until he is done as well. As I said earlier Kamelose is the one that talks most, but Mulm likes to make like seriously long sentences about like seriously heavy metal like music ^^
Thank you guys for giving us “NORSK” and the Norwegian version of “Yarr”.
Hey thats me... ;-) A nice post Mijo, you are quite right about me there. I do realy talk ALOT. And ofc we never do things whitout a reason... we are norwegians for crying out loud! The most boring people in the world (when we are not drunk that is :P)
First and foremost we strive to be a group of friends having fun together in the World of Warcraft. Second, although being by definition a
guild with more or less "casual" approach, we strive for quality more than sheer numbers, and we are - with the help of our allies - on our way to
bringing down the hardest of chalenges. Trying to function as "elite", meaning that we try to overcome challenges with skill and cunning, rather
than force of numbers.
