Ghroktar!

I was going to save this portrait for later, but since Ghroktar is taking a break from wow, I thought I would honour him by making a post about him now.

This mighty orc warrior is a very nice guy irl who loves his dogs and never drinks beer. However that doesn’t mean he can’t be “mean” when you talk to him in wow. And if anybody knows how to get to him, please let me know, cause every joke you make about this guy, seems to bounce off him as if he in fact was a big green orc. Maybe it’s because he wears plate?
Ah, yes Ghroktar likes to make jokes and can certainly handle to get some back.

Ghroktar was one of the people online that fatal night where a certain priest came online very drunk. Ghroktar handled the situation very well by exploiting this priest, by making him create some free bags for him. And after that night he made sure that everybody knew about this drunk priest’s typos, like “krkr” (means “hehe”).

While Ghroktar may be giving some people a hard time, he is also a very good listener. Even if he is very busy questing, he will take the time to listen to peoples ongoing drunk babbling whispers to him. If he can no longer concentrate because of all the talking, he will tell you very politely and make sure to get back to you later. Errm, or so I’ve been told anyway ^^

Whenever you are getting into trouble with the allys, Ghroktar will also be there to help you out....ususally you can find him killing the alliance's windmaster.

Though Ghroktar has been an active player and usually could be found in guild chat, he needs to be reminded to go look at the forum, at least once a week. So if nobody tells him about this portrait, he will most likely never read it!

Ghroktar is also one of the true pirates in Tiger, and if you are a pirate yourself you will most likely be greeted with a hearty “Yarr” from him. Personally I think this is one of the things that makes guild chat just a little more fun, so thank you for contributing with that Ghrok.

To sum up, Ghroktar is the Tiger/pirate to go to if you need to talk serious or if you are looking for a little fun and just want to talk drunken rubbish (I hear he does instances and BG’s too, but I never grouped with him so I wouldn’t know about that ^^).

So thank you mighty warrior Ghroktar, for always nagging on me – it keeps me motivated.
