To gank or not to gank

…that indeed is the question.

We have all been ganked many times, in many different situations and I think we can all agree that it sucks. Sometimes you get killed so many times by the same person that you have to leave the area or simply log off.

We all have different ways of reacting when we get ganked. Some choose to gank back, alone if possible and otherwise get help. Some people kill once, others decide to dedicate some time to make the gankers life a living hell. And then there’s the ones ignoring the ganker, hoping he/she will go away.

I personally aren’t very fond of allys in general, but when I meet them I usually come with peace. Even if I am able to kill an ally, there is the risk that he will come back and a war between us and maybe the friends we can gather will start. That means that I have to spend a lot of time fighting alliance which wasn’t what I came to do. So the way I see it, it saves me a lot of time to just leave them alone and hope they will leave me alone too. I even help them out if they are in trouble, just to show them that I don’t wanna figth. Cause the main reason I find it annoying to be killed or ganked, is that it takes time away from what I really wanted to do. If im in a group with someone that lives by the rule “do to others before they do to you” and I cant stop them killing allys, then ofcource I will help my fellow horde. But in general I don’t kill allys and i certainly dont gank, cause I don’t like being ganked myself. With that said I do like playing on a pvp server cause it adds a lot of excitement to the game and sometimes when you get ganked and fellow Tigers come to revenge you, it can turn into a rather fun raid.

Some people gank so much that they become famous for it. Im sure a lot of you have heard of the hunter named Liberty, that eats Horde people for breakfast. She ganks so much that ive heard there used to be a guild called “Liberty Hunters” whos only purpose was to get back at Liberty for all the times she ganked them. I met her quite a few times myself and some time ago we gathered a small raid in Tiger to hunt her down. She had good help, but we got her, so we could all sleep a little better that night, knowing she got what she deserved. Now, on a pvp server you are free to gank others, and you have to deside for yourself, how much pvp you wanna do. But people like Liberty, that spends hours killing lowbies, i dont have any sympathy for.

Yesterday there was an alliance guild called “Bad Company” that proved that they really are bad company, by killing everything that moved in Stranglethorn Vale. A bunch of Tigers went there to protect Horde members in the area and to strike against ganking! They fought for a good cause and im very proud of those who went there, risking their life for the sake of the little man. So good job guys :)

Comments:
My point of wiew when it comes to ganking..
If they touch they die and leave them if they leave you.

If i see someone jump a lowlvl ofc i help the lowlvl.

If someone jumps without reason.. don't count on my help...

This doesn't mean that a raid now and then can be quite fun ^^

Hear hear Reinos, sounds very reasonable to me :)

KILL'em all...! >:[
