Said about Horde and Alliance
Just as theres prejudice about men and women, black and white, homosexuals and heterosexuals and even cats and dogs - theres certain things said to be true about Horde and Alliance! And of course all the bad things said about Horde is completely untrue :p
The thing Ive heard people say about Horde is that we are rude people. This was said by my coworker after I stated that we couldn't talk together anymore because he used to play Alliance. I thought I was rather polite since I said "I really like you so its too bad we cant communicate anymore". I thought that was rather nice of me to say - considering he was a former alliance - but apparently he took offense. So to him Horde are just a bunch of rude brutes.
Another Alliance coworker of mine thinks that Horde people are boring, cause we choose such obvious races designed for war. He claims people choosing Horde are going for the safe choice. On the other hand he also says that its much more humiliating getting killed by a gnome than any race of the Horde, which was one of his reason for choosing Alliance. To me it just sounds like Horde people are much braver since they risk the humiliation every day ;) And after reading this i realize i need to get a new job!
Apart from my coworkers, Alliance consists only of young immature males having experienced nothing greater in their life but taking down Onyxia and seeing famous people on television having nipslips. This means that Horde members must be "old" and have all the female gamers as well. Alliance members have parents that control the time they are allowed to play and they use that time to the full advantage to get those epics that means the world to them. These prejudice about Alliance i have heard from other Horde people and i preach them myself - so as you can see i am not rude at all ;)
What assumptions do you have about the two sides?

Ha ha.. you are right about the thing you said about that allys always are young and cant behave. The horde is more of calm ppl that have seen one or two things in their life.

Allys are more sensitive to group pressure and cant be on their own
they love gankin and do that in as big gropus as possible so they dont need to stand alone
I they come alone they run for their life if they meet one horde cause that could lead to a person sain a hearty hello : )

Haha you got a point there but i have to defend allies abit, I started as one my self once in the time. a Dwarf Paladin who serve law and justice. A brave dwarf who lived for the law and justice...Sadly i never did those things, i tihnk i broke all rules and laws i ver could break haha becus that was my role to start fights in a group and thins like that, "hate the elfs" you know :)
Anyways. As horde we have much more fun or thats just what i feel. thy are soo much cooler then a silly Ally like the gay gnome rogue my brother plays :P
Well I dont know what my point really is here but you can roleplay alot as ally ofc whit a horde but after cupple of years as a paper and pen roleplayer you like the environment or I do.

i'm with Fuzz. if you wanna roleplay you play a "fantasycharacter". i don't see humans or gnomes and dwarwes that fantasy.. they're to similiar to humans.. so there was the only choice horde. and yes mijo... allies are often played by "kids" ehhe
atleast all kids i know play horde. and all friends i've had that played allys changed to horde after a while since they really want to play with mature ppl.

yeah... if they are much higher than you or have group then they kill you but alone they run.

I can't play at the moment because the college internet connection sucks. And I have found one person who plays wow but he is a dwarf paladin. Now he is the only one who knows how stupid it is when you can't play. But he is an ally. So sometimes we just have to forget all the hatred and hate Writtle College together :)
