Easter Eggs 2

Time for another peek at some of the easter eggs to be found around Azeroth and Outland. This time Mijo has found references to a lot of old stuff; an old horror movie, a gothic novel from 1897 and one of my favourite arcade games !

Picture One: This mob pays Area 52 in Netherstorm a visit from time to time, to trash the goblin's big rocket. The goblins isnt too thrilled about that, so they ask you to go kick some robot arse! The robot looks just like the fel reavers you meet when you arrive to Outland in Hellfire Peninsula, but the special thing about this one is that it is named Negatron - very similair to "Megatron" who is the bad "guy" in the universe of Transformers, that consist of cartoons, toys and lately a pretty awesome movie ;)

Picture Two: This bloodsucking beast can be found around Zangarmash and is a very easy kill. Theres something unregular about it anyway, since it is the only one of its kind named "Count". Sine this beast enjoys drinking blood, it seems that "Count Ungula" is a reference to the legend of the vampire Count Dracula. Catch it if you can, but watch out - it bites!

Picture Three and Four: Atleast as an undead you must have spend some time around Undercity and Sepulcher and have run into the inkeepers there. At first sight theres nothing unusual about these gentlement but if you look at their pictures together you will realise that theres something familiar about their names. Norman Bates is actually the name of the killer in the horrormovie "Psycko" with the famous shower scene. And Norman bates happens to be an inkeeper as well! So watch your step with these fellas, im not sure its safe to check in with these guys.

Picture Five: This last one might seem a bit vague and i must admit i didnt realise this could be an easter egg myself. But being a big fan of the old game "StreetFighter" i just had to go visit this guy. "Hadoken" is the....sound or yell from one of the games most famous characters that will most definitly annoy you if you play it enough and will stick to your mind forever! However, someone liked it enough to name this Npc Hadoken and you can see him in Camp Mojache, Feralas :)
